Winter holidays are coming, and I do not know where, what and how? Trip to the mountains? Willingly, but only to such a house. This is another project of an American architectural studio Olson Kundig Architects that I admired, published in Architectural Digest. I love their projects, materials, colors, solid space - everything fits together. Anyway, see for yourself.

Zimowy dom
Za chwilę ferie, a ja nie wiem, gdzie, co i jak? Wyjazd w góry? Chętnie, ale w takim domu. To kolejny projekt podziwianej przeze mnie amerykańskiej pracowni architektonicznej Olson Kundig Architects opublikowany w Architectural Digest. Uwilbiam ich realizacje, materiały, kolorystyka, bryła przestrzeń - wszystko do siebie pasuje. Zresztą sami zobaczcie.

Pracownia artystyczna - Craft Industry
Pracownia Craft Industry, Eindhoven, Holandia
With age, more and more I appreciate the arts and crafts and people with passion that turns to way of life. During the Dutch Design Days in Eindhoven I visited many amazing studios, showrooms and conceptstores, but this studio and showroom made a huge impression on me for many reasons. Craft Industry is a special place. Let's start with the owner, Jason. At the age of 10 years came with his mom from South America to the Netherlands. At the beginning without knowing the language life was very hard for them, but already then he had a passion - collecting vintage and old things that at first glance were unuseful. Because of the difficult financial situation Jason works from the age of 16. He gives new life to old objects, sometimes renovate them, sometimes changes their function. His work place looks amazing and he is a super nice guy. I asked him how he obtains all the furniture, lamps, etc. After so many years has regular suppliers, but also spends many weekends doing car trip through Europe, sometimes he is surprised what "treasures" people throw away. Anyway, see for yourself. Oh, sometimes he gets staff from Poland too....Below you will find links to Jason's apartment and photos of his studio taken by the super talented Dutch stylist and photographer Paulina Arcnin.
